Theoretical and applied research in information systems domain (Theoretical research: new algorithms and technologies for knowledge acquisition, formalization and management; processing of ultrasound images. Applied research: decision support systems, intelligent e-learning and e-training systems, Web content management systems). Information society creation.

Important results

Intelligent e-learning and e-training systems

Methods for formalization, storage and visualization of educational material were developed (C.Gaindric, S.Cojocaru, Iu.Secrieru, O.Popcova).

An intelligent computer-aided system for training in ultrasound investigation domain SONARES.EDU was developed. It provides an efficient, easy-to-use and well-designed mode of domain study for students and those who carried out a training. For a lecturer it is the tool that assists not only in teaching process, but also in formation of the instructive course (C.Gaindric, S.Cojocaru, Iu.Secrieru).
