Cercetări teoretice şi aplicative în domeniul sistemelor informatice (Cercetări teoretice: algoritmi şi tehnologii noi de achiziţionare, formalizare şi management al cunoştinţelor; procesarea imaginilor ultrasonografice. Cercetări aplicative: sisteme suport pentru decizii, sisteme inteligente de instruire şi trening asistate de calculator, sisteme de management al conţinutului web). Sisteme de management al conţinutului web

A fost propusă o metodă de incorporare a interfeţei generice pentru managementul datelor Web în sistemul de management al contentului. Această tehnologie a fost pusă la baza creării contentului site-ului oficial al Institutului de Matematică şi Informatică al AŞM şi a altor site-uri despre proiectele IMI şi CNAA (O.Burlaca, P.Bogatencov, D.Verlan, G.Gorincioi).

Sisteme inteligente de instruire şi trening asistate de calculator

Au fost elaborate metode de formalizare, stocare şi vizualizare a materialului didactic (C.Gaindric, S.Cojocaru, Iu.Secrieru, O.Popcova).

A fost elaborat un sistem inteligent de instruire in domeniul examinării ultrasonografice asistat de calculator – SONARES.EDU, care asigură un mod eficient, comod şi bine conceput de studiere a domeniului pentru studenţi şi cei ce efectuează un training; iar pentru profesor este un instrument ce î-l asistă nu doar în procesul de predare, ci şi în formarea cursului instructiv propriu zis (C.Gaindric, S.Cojocaru, Iu.Secrieru)
