On October 2-4, 2012 an International Workshop "Romania-Moldova Inter-academic Cooperation in Computer Science" under the auspices of the Iasi Subsidiary of the Romanian Academy took place. From the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova the following people have participated:
- Director of IMCS, Dr. habil. Svetlana Cojocaru with presentation "Cooperation in Computer Science between the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and specialized institutions from Romania";
- Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Dr. habil., Prof. Constantin Gaindric with presentation "Project "Innovative methods for visualization and ultrasound investigation for medical purposes": objectives and achievements";
- Researcher Olga Popcova with presentation "Knowledge Acquisition and Management in a System for Medical Ultrasound Examination";
- Researcher Tatiana Verlan with presentation "Achievements of the project "Information resources management and assistance in inter-academic scientific cooperation and in management of cooperation between the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the Romanian Academy"".
