Actual problems of algebra and differential equations: theoretical and applied aspects

Programmee:Institutional Projects (Supreme Council for Science and Technological Development)
Execution period:2011 – 2014
Institutions:Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science
Project Leader:Popa Mihail
Participants: Algebra and Topology, Differential Equations
Field of application:Fundamental Sciences - Physics-Mathematics
Keywords:quasigroup, ring, topology, variety, invariant, differential system, lattice

The role and significance of the project consist in the ensuring of continuity and succession in the research work, in the support and progress of the existing in the country scientific schools, in the implication of the youth in research work, in the expansion of the sphere of application of scientific results. In particular, the application of theoretical results of this domain in some problems of cryptology, biology, medicine, ecology, energetic, is supposed.
The expected results:
  1. the description of structure of some grupoids and quasigroups with various identities, of spectrum and number of such objects as latin squares, systems of orthogonal operations, Boolean functions;
  2. elucidation of properties of binary and n-ary operations (quasigroups) with elaboration on this basis of some cipher and cods;
  3. the qualitative investigations of the vectorial two- and multidimensional fields, determined by polynomial differential systems, oriented to the applicative mathematical models.
