Abstract
The boundary layer functions method of Lyusternik-Vishik is used to obtain the asymptotic expansions of the solutions to the Cauchy problem for the linear symmetric hyperbolic systems with coefficients depending on spacial variables as the small parameter $\varepsilon$ tends to zero.Moldova State University A.Mateevici
