BMBF call "Bridge2ERA EaP"

The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) launched call for proposals for integration of the Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) into the European Research Area – Bridge2ERA EaP.

The aim of this funding measure is to initiate or intensify cooperation between German applicants and their EaP partners with a view of preparing joint research and innovation projects under the EU Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation: H2020 and Horizon Europe. In this regard, travel and stays of researchers and experts, coordination of international networking, as well as organization of the project workshops are supported.

The call is open to researchers from all disciplines who can make relevant contributions to the specified priorities. Applications may be submitted by universities, research institutes and other institutions providing research contributions, as well as by business enterprises, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which meet the purpose and conditions of the call.

The grants are up to 40,000 EUR (with participation of a German SME up to 50,000 EUR) for a maximum duration of 2 years.
