Enlighten Your Research @ EaP 2017 Call

Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Center of International Projects and RENAM (Research and Educational Networking Association of Moldova) launch a joint call for research proposals for 2017 under the Eastern Partnership Connect (EaPConnect) project.

The Eastern Partnership (EaP) is a regional and multilateral initiative between the EU and its six Eastern partners: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. The partnership aims to provide support and assistance for reforms in the region in the fields of democracy, human rights, market economy, sustainability and governance. In line with this, EaPConnect is organizing the internationally successful Enlighten Your Research (EYR) program. This program promotes the benefits of international-scale research and advanced computer networks, creating an exciting opportunity for research communities in the EaP region.

EYR@EaP 2017 invites researchers from any discipline and their collaborators to submit proposals with challenging research questions and a need for technology – proposals that highlight how access to internet and computing technologies could significantly improve their research process. The program is open to all ranges of research teams – from novice to expert in the use of information technologies.

The final selected projects will receive:

Example infrastructure services and resources that are made available through EYR@EaP 2017 include (but are not limited to):

Winning applicants will get free participation at the Eastern Partnership E-infrastructure Conference, organised by EaPConnect in Minsk, Belarus, on September 27-28, 2017. Here the winners will be able to present their research project.
