Presentations from the Regional Workshop "Science evaluation as a prerequisite for promoting excellence in research" held on November 6, 2012
On November 6, 2012, in the Academy of Sciences of Moldova the Regional Workshop "Science evaluation as a prerequisite for promoting excellence in research" was organized in partnership with the European Commission's DG Research and Innovation under the auspices of the Eastern Partnership Platform 4 "Contacts between People".
The aim of the event was to share experience and best practices on research and innovation proposals evaluation and to strengthen capacity in peer review practices in the Eastern Partnership countries.
This workshop was attended by over 30 potential evaluators of research and innovation proposals, coordinators of international projects, experts registered in the FP7 Expert Database, representatives of expert councils in charge of projects evaluation, representatives of the academies of sciences and research foundations from the Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine).
