Joint call for proposals ASM-NASR for 2010-2012

The Academy of Sciences of Moldova (ASM) and the National Authority for Scientific Research (NASR) of Romania have launced the first joint call for proposals.

The purpose of the call is to contribute to the initiation and/or development of scientific cooperation between scientists from the Republic of Moldova and those from Romania to address solving of actual problems related the real and exact sciences, as well as to strengthen efforts of ASM and NASR in financing of research projects in science real and and exact sciences, jointly realized by the scientific teams from the Republic of Moldova and Romania.

The scientific cooperation areas supported by the programme are:

  1. Environment
  2. Agriculture
  3. Health
  4. Technologies
  5. Products and Services
  6. Management of Science and Information Resources

To the competition can be applied joint scientific projects carried out by researchers teams from from the Republic of Moldova and Romania, which are of scientific interest for scientific community and are aimed to develop and deep knowledge and research that manifest major scientific and practical importance.

Priority will be given to scientific projects with a high potential for further financing of European research programmes, particularly in the 7th Framework Programme for research and technological development (2007-2013).

Deadline: December 21, 2009.

In the Republic of Moldova the cost of a project will not exceed the sum of 120,000 lei per year.

Projects will start on June 1, 2010 and will finalize on November 30, 2012.
