Abstract
In the light of the European Commission's strategic documents, the policies of European countries regarding the use and development of applications based on Artificial Intelligence are examined. The situation in this area in the Republic of Moldova is described, including that in comparison with some neighboring states and Estonia and taking into account a common starting point. The paper examines the policies of European countries regarding the use and development of applications based on Artificial Intelligence. Along with the examination of the strategic documents of the European Commission, some of them are studied at national level. Also, the situation in this field in the Republic of Moldova is analyzed.
