An effective algorithm for numericaly solving the problems of hypervelocity deformation of elastic-plastic media is constructed in this paper. The initial specifying and moving of contact and free borders are considered on Euler grid. The algorithms permit to trace the moving of Lagrange borders and simulate correctly the process of hypervelocity
collision. The influence of crater formation, the damage of target and indentor are investigated.
