On exact solutions of the heat equation with a nonlinear source-sink of a special type. (Russian)

Abstract

The work solves the model problem of exitation front propagation on nerve fibre. The dependence of the full ion current on the axon membrane is approximated by means of the exponentially-polynomial function. The exact solution of the running waves type equation of heat conductivity with nonlinear source of exponentially-polynomial kind has been found. The analitical expression for the profile and speed of the front have been obtained. The results of numerical analysis of experimental curve approximation by different model functions are given.
