Abstract
Throughout its life mankind faces various disasters and catastrophes: natural, technogenic, social. One of the important sources of information for these situations is the huge volume of unstructured data available in the global information networks. In this study, we describe a tool set that includes methods for extracting relevant texts from the networks, their classification and analysis. Two stages are described: preparatory and processing. The first one deals with patterns (texts and keywords) creation, during the second phase news texts are processed using database and controlled vocabulary.Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science
