Finite projection and dual of birth-death processes. (English)

Abstract
The structure of the finite projection of transient birth-death processes (BDP) and its connection with dual for respective BDP was described in this paper. Sufficient conditions for ergodicity of finite projection of transient BDP are given. Results may be applied to aproach many transient Computer Science Queueing Systems based on BDP by its ergodic analogous.Universitatea de Stat din Moldova
