Meeting with Cédric Villani, Fields medallist in 2010
On May 19, 2016 Technical University of Moldova and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) will host a major scientific and didactic event. Illustrious contemporary mathematician, Fields medallist in 2010 – Cédric Villani, director of the Henri Poincaré Institute (France) – will deliver a speech about the miraculous world of mathematics.
In the framework of this event the presentation of Cédric Villani's book "Les rêveurs lunaires" ("The Moon Dreamers"), translated into Romanian by the AUF team and published recently in Bucharest, will take place.
The meeting will take place at 9:15 am in the Celebrity Hall of the Technical University of Moldova.
