Horizon 2020 Eastern Partnership (EaP) Information Day in Yerevan

On 26 September, 2013 the European Commission – DG Connect, the National Academy of Sciences of Republic of Armenia, the Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems with its CSIT2013 Conference, the FP7 National Contact Points Office in Armenia and the PICTURE project (FP7) organized the event "Horizon 2020 Eastern Partnership (EaP) Information Day – Research & Innovation in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)".

The event took place in Yerevan, Armenia, and was attended by more than 130 participants coming from most Eastern Europe and Central Asian countries, as well as from the European Union.

Supported by the Eastern Partnership (EaP) Platform IV, and the Multilateral Part of the European Neighbourhood Policy Instrument (ENPI), the event aimed at helping participants to better understand the role of ICT in Horizon 2020, to exchange experience of participation of EaP countries in FP7, and to present ICT research priorities in Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries based on the findings of the PICTURE project.
