Prizes of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei
The Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei from Italy announces a competition to award four "Prof. Luigi Tartufari" Prizes for academic year 2010-2011, amounting to € 25.000, each in the following disciplines:
- Literature, Poetry, Art;
- History and Philosophy;
- Institutional and Socio-Economic Sciences;
- Portrayal of Italy in the world.
The Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei will also confer "Antonio Feltrinelli" Prize in the amount of € 250.000 in one of the following disciplines:
- Humanities;
- Physical, Mathematical and Natural Sciences;
- Literature;
- Arts;
- Medicine.
Likewise, there is announced a competition to award the International "Cataldo Agostinelli e Angiola Gili Agostinelli" Prize of € 15.000 to an eminent scholar in the fields of:
- Pure and Applied Mechanics,
- Mathematical Physics.
Deadline for submitting applications to the Academy of Sciences of Moldova: December 24, 2010. Then these will be proposed to the Committee for evaluation from Italy. Any incomplete applications will not be taken into account.
Applications can be submitted at office 443 in the central building of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (1, Stefan cel Mare Avenue).
