Training Workshop for Stakeholders in ICT Research and Development
On May 19, 2010, 9:00 am at the Central Scientific Library "A.Lupan" (5A, Academiei Street, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova) in the framework of EXTEND European project will be organized Training Workshop for Stakeholders in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) Research and Development.
The aim of the workshop is to prepare stakeholders in ICT research and development for participation in EU 7th Framework Programme (FP7) projects. The training workshop will focus on opportunities, procedures, thematic priorities of FP7 ICT, as well as will familiarize with R&D culture in Europe (official and non-official aspects).
The following topics will be discussed at the workshop:
- Presentation of the objectives of FP7 ICT;
- Financing opportunities;
- Information about upcoming calls;
- Participation criteria;
- Useful national and EU contacts;
- Guidance in preparing a project proposal;
- How to create a successful consortia;
- Opportunities for participation in ICT projects (including typical stages of the project).
The workshop is part of events organized in the framework of ICT Week in the Republic of Moldova (May 17-23, 2010).
