A cybernetic model of computerization of the cultural heritage

Abstract

An e-Europe for all should include the facilitation of European citizens to the cultural heritage of Europe and Mediterranean area. This paper proposes a vision for a transition to complex systems combining IT organizations and cultural institutions. It describes the impact and limits and proposes a preliminary cybernetic model to study the relationship between the organizations implied.
