Abstract
A finite projection $(M/GI/1)^\ast$ of nonstationary $M/GI/1$ queueing system was described in this work. Particularly the finite projection of nonstationary $(\lambda, \mu)-M/M/1$ queueing system coincides with stationary
$(\mu, \lambda)-M/M/1$ system.
