XXVII Balkan Mathematical Olympiad

27 th BMO

will take place in the city of Chisinau, Republic of Moldova from May 2 till May 8, 2010. This mathematical competition will be held according to the traditional regulations of Balkan Mathematical Olympiads (BMO). Each participating country should send a team of up 6 high school students (not exceeding the age of 20) and up to two teachers (leader and deputy leader).

BMO is held under auspices and with financial support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova. The competition will be held on May 4, 2010 in the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova.

The BMO Jury shall consist of all leaders of participating countries and its Chair person, appointed by the host country. Each country (except the host country) should send proposals of up to 5 problems for the contest. The official language of the BMO is ENGLISH.

Deadlines of the 27th BMO 2010:

• March 25 - the confirmation of the participation in the BMO 2010;
• April 2      - the receiving of the proposals for the BMO 2010;
• April 11    - the registration of the team in the BMO 2010;
• April 20    - the arrival/departures information for the team.
